MacDill AirFest brings back Thunderb mi adidas irds
on Saturday. The performances will start at the same time tomorrow.
The AirFest r mi adidas amp is filled with military aircraft, warbirds, military vehicles, equipment from all military branches and displays of aviation and ground equipment from local law enforcement agencies.
This year, not even the heat could stop plan enthusiasts from showing up to see aircrafts like Blackhawks and B 52s.
“We’re seeing all of the jet aircraft like the F 14 and others,” said fan Michael Rhodes.
Fans lined up to get aboard the different aircraft. The line stretched far beyond the cockpit door to get on the KC 10.
Military aircraft and equipment on display include the C 5, C 17, KC 10, KC 135, B 52, B 1, F 16, F 15, A 10, T 6, T 38, C 130H2, AC 130, WC 130, C 21, HH 60, Draken Aviation A 4K Skyhawk and MB 339CB, along with ma mi adidas ny other vintage warbirds.
The F 16 “Fighting Falcons” flown by the Thunderbirds are capable of nearly 1,500 mph at 5,000, or slightly faster speeds near sea level.
And the mi adidas re are numerous other scheduled performances, including wingsuit and parachute jumping exhibitions.
Visitors have to pass through security, and items such as coolers, glass containers, pets, fireworks and large tote bags are prohibited.
