Lawmakers are also slated to have the final floor vote on Senate Bill 301, reconnecting Oregon’s income tax statutes with federal codes. As I reported previously, this one is on a fast track. Though, given some of the emails I’ve received, it’s not moving fast enough for some who want to file early.Also on Monday, the House Rules committee will hold its first public hearing on House Joint Resolution 25 calling for sobriety checkpoints in Oregon. in Room 50.Tuesday is shaping up to be a busy and maybe historic day. The Senate Education and Workforce Committee has scheduled a hearing on Senate Bill 559, which would establish the Univ adidas samba ersity of Oregon as an independent public university.
